With a liberal arts education that made me a great potential contestant on "Jeopardy" but which provided no specific career training, I worked in several professions before finding my true calling as a Leisure Travel Specialist over 20 years ago. I have never looked back. I am a self-confessed "hotel maven" and have been accused of entering the travel business because I "like to sleep around". (My husband is still carping about the time I made him change hotels midweek on a 7-night stay in Hong Kong, so this accusation is likely specious.) I have embarked on this blog to share my experiences and my hard-won travel tips with now and future travelers and vicarious adventurers.
